About Me

I've been in Daytona Beach almost a year, but to make this place really feel like "home," I'd like to make lots more friends. Interesting, smart -- and most importantly -- nice people need only apply! I tend to get along with just about anyone and have a wild range of interests, so feel free to send me a message. Working at night and never having a fixed schedule sometimes makes it hard to connect with those not in the crazy journalism field.

When I'm not working, I enjoy reading, all kinds of dancing, watching movies, writing fiction and nonfiction, going to clubs, hanging out with my friends and befriending people from other countries.

I really want to be multilingual, so if you speak another language (such as Spanish, French, Hebrew or German), help me. I'll be going to Europe June 15, so I need all the help I can get!

My Blog

I want to be as talented as Jacqueline Carey

I went out and bought "Kushiel's Scion" by Jacqueline Carey the day it came out in Barnes & Noble. It is a continuation (sort of) of her trilogy Kushiel's Dart, Kushiel's Chosen and Kushiel's Avat...

Review of "The Ghost Walker"

Don't act all surprised I'm blogging again. Okay, okay, I know it's been a while, but I moved and started a new job. It's easy to be distracted by that. Yes, I know I kept up with my Live Journal, but...

Back with a twofer review of Laurell K. Hamilton's first book and latest book

Hello, my lovelies. As an apology of bailing out on the last couple book reviews, a necessary evil, I will be reviewing Laurell K. Hamilton's "Nightseer," her first book which was reissued in 1992 and...

Misery

When I channel-surf, I've passed "Misery" playing on the TV several times, but I didn't want to see it until I read it first. The book is almost always better (except in the case of "Gone with the Win...

No Man's Yoke on my Shoulders

Working in features, I get all kind of nifty things. (For instance, today I received Kaboom Shower and Tile Cleaner and Kaboom Bowl Cleaner.) About a month and a half ago, I received a book in the mai...

An introduction...and then we'll follow the yellow brick road

I love reading. I prefer fantasy and horror, but I'll read anything. My bookcases are full, and books are stacked like towers in my room. In fact, if an earthquake suddenly hit Central Florida, I'd pr...
