so, the album is finally out in stores everywhere. it's like you wake up and
all of a sudden you've finished high school except you thought it was never
gonna happen. and then... now what? right? so we decided on a new "about us'
thingy for you to read, that's what
our biggest latest news is that the kindly folks at Lucky Artist Booking
have just added us to their roster and you have no idea how thankful and
happy we are to be part of their family! Lucky books one of our absolute
favorite bands, the Matches, so this is a huge deal to us. we're not sure if
we're a real band yet, but right now as we tour coast to coast for the 4th
time this year it looks like things are slowly turning our way. sh*t has
definitely gone wrong enough times for us: 2 college expulsions (both by
clunky (axually that was prolly a good thing)), a dead van left by the side
of the road in indiana (RIP roxxxanne), we played the mainstage of the
HFStival and then that radio station switched to a latin dance format, and
little stuff like justin stuck wearing the same pair of pants every day for
the entire last tour (that was gross, they literally fell apart at the end).
some days test you like chemistry class. bluh. but then you get the good
news, and you know you're never giving in until they cart you away, so check
out some of the cool stuff that's happening besides hooking up with Lucky:
our video for "Bobby Know It All" is getting played on regional video
programs all over the country (no, not MTV yet, but we'll get there). "Too
Old To Cry" has gotten spun on radio stations all over the country, from
XM's Ethel Channel (thank you Erik Range!) to 98Rock (those are our boys in
our hometown of Baltimore), to places like Hawaii, Tulsa, Chicago, Wichita,
New York, Pennsylvania... and one of the ways we know about it is cause you
guys write in and tell us when you hear it. you have no idea how much that
means to us. on top of all that, we've rokked almost 30 states now and we'll
hit 40 by the end of the year, so we're working our a$$ off to spread the
word like fast growing cancer. and can you believe we got added to the Kevin
Says stage in our hometown for the Warped Tour?!?!!!!!!! Merriweather Post
Pavillion, 6/15, see you there!!!!!
and to all of our friends and fans who put us up and put up with us on the
road, you're always in our hearts, thank you so much for everything and
especially the showers!
much love
Dan & Clunky & Justin
