Robb and Dr. Zeuz, are two individuals with different minds. They use their unique perspectives to create one of the hottest new styles today. Their mixture of hip-hop, rock, and Latin are now known as Hy3rid (pronounced 'hybrid'). Hy3rid's explosive music style combines synthesized sounds, loops, hard hitting drum kicks, live instruments, and other elements that the group has gathered from their idols, such as Eminem, Dr. Dre, Linkin' Park, System of a Down, Tego Calderon and Calle 13.
Though Hy3rid's members have gone through trials and tribulations, their positive attitude and their determination to overcome all obstacles make Hy3rid an inspiration for younger generations to fight for their dreams. Robb is the vocalist of the group. This artist's versatile voice works with all the songs in the album, from the optimistic song "Beautiful Morning" to the gloomy tonality of the slow-tempo "Susie." The vocalists wide range in pitch leaves the listener in awe, and with his melodic voice, he is able to carry the audience into a subliminal auditory trance. Robb is proud to be a member of Hy3rid and is grateful he can share the spotlight with the amazing talent of Dr. Zeuz.
Zeuz, as he likes to be called, is the rapper who, with his one of a kind lyrical style, is able take the auditor in a non stop rhyming marathon. This lyricist rhyming skills surpass the linguistic talents of current idolized commercial hip-hop artist. His flowing abilities add to the dynamics of the group by conveying his emotions in every song. Whether he is inviting the listener to seize the opportunity of life in "Come With Me" or weather he is cursing the day he met a girl in "Bitch," Dr. Zeuz delivers an overwhelming feeling with his amazing lingual diversity.
Now after breaking barriers in America, Hy3rid continues its search in the land that saw them grow, Mexico. The sign of the eagle is branded in their heart, and they show it in the song "Quiero" as they open their opinions in topics like the war in Iraq, immigration, and the peer-pressure to be accepted. Hy3rid's fire not only burns on stage, but also behind it. Their flames are alive from the moment they create their music, write their lyrics, record their voices, create their own designs, edit their own videos, and sing with their heart in their hands to bring the audience something they have never experienced. These artists combined are too omnipotent for any up coming artist, and are a menace to the reining kings of music.
