. Meet StoneDrive. A modern rock band hailing from Paris, France. Their first album "A Moment Of Weakness" has been invoking comparisons ranging from Alter Bridge and Nickelback to Chris Cornell and Pearl Jam. Fans and media alike have been blown away by their hard hitting debut and see big things on the horizon for this fledgling band.
A mixture of all things rock combined with wrenching lyrics and haunting melodies StoneDrive started off when singer/guitarist Dave Adam met fellow
guitarist Xavier Guillemet and drummer David Lefebvre in 2006. Sharing many of the same influences they instantly formed a musical kinship and began an intensive year of writing and recording songs with the help of lyricist Kevin Tinbergen.
With the demos completed Stonedrive welcomed talented bassist Romauld Luczak into the fold and entered famed Parisian studio "Sainte Marthe" with Francis Caste (ZuulFx, Aqme, No Return) at the helm.
After several weeks of intense studio sessions, the album was completed and the result was 10 amazing tracks ranging from the heavy and lyrically dense "Redemption Day" to the radio-ready single "Breathe" and beautiful but tragic power ballads "Yesterday Today" and "Handful of Dust".
Realizing they wanted a bigger and badder sound for their live show Stonedrive brought on Fabrice Tedaldi as the final piece of the puzzle and began their assault on audiences nationwide.
