DETROIT'S FINEST

About Me

Hypnotic. Genuine. Mesmerizing. Just a few words that can be used to describe Eldorados edgy lyrics that resonate from your speakers . His music is unique and powerful while still delivering the reality that underground hip-hop fans have come to expect from him. He relates to the audience through concrete imagery and tales from the rugged streets of Detroit, Michigan. The strength in his music can be contributed to the ability to flow naturally and write heartfelt words that can touch on many different subjects. Words that grab the ears of listeners because of the authentic voice, and word play so intricate that it takes two listens to understand the lyrical assault of a 16 bar performance. Eldorado, 24, discovered his passion for rapping when he was only 16 years old. Seeing a young generation take advantage of this dynamic culture, he thankfully through his hat in the ring to offer a breath of fresh air to hip hop. By performing in numerous showcases around the city, he gained notoriety from other local artists for being a "hot" rapper with raw talent. In 2000 as a member of the group "Hot Shotz", he released the critically acclaimed underground album "Hot Shotz: Vol. 1.0" Aspiring to be a billboard top selling artist, "Rado" decided to go solo and relocated to Atlanta, GA in 2001. Since arriving in the ATL, he has won the "Jack the Rapper" contest and was a featured artist on the "Jack the Rapper" Mixtape Vol. 1. Eldorado has also done radio promotion for DJ Jelly's syndicated mix show "Dirty South Showdown", and was featured on his "Best of R&B Part 7" cd. Along with performing as a featured artist in the "Urban Spotlight Showcase" at the world famous Shark bar in 2001, he has opened up for various artists such as Nivea and Bad Boy rapper Loon. Recently at a new artist showcase, he gained praises from local artists as well as label reps from Motown and Priority Records, amongst others, for his music. In the near future, Eldorado will premiere in a hip hop documentary entitled "Starving Artists", which will chronicle the lives of upcoming rap artists as they strive to make it in the music industry. In his quest to bring the Motown sound back to prominance, Eldorado puts the city on his back in efforts to raise the standard of Detroit hip hop. About his music he says, "I want my lyrics to make people reminisce back to the days when hip hop was hip hop. Back to when it was all about being creative and original instead of just doin' what everybody else does to get a quick check. Cats is scared to change the game right now, but I'm ready to do just that." Finally Mike Carter, Eldorado's manager for two years, stated. "He has what it takes for longevity in this business -- talent, the business mind, and perseverance; that equates to a platinum seller on billboard if you ask me". True indeed, true indeed.Changes may take up to 2 mins to show on your profile
