Born and raised in Småland, I'm Swedish but since about a year I live in Italy, Rimini. My musical career started early singing at home with my grandmother, in the school choir and playing the recorder and piano at the local music school. I gradually understood that I wanted to sing, play and write music as much as possible and I went on to study music at highschool in Växjö and at the College of Music in Malmö. I eventually ended up teaching Music and English at the Teleborg Centrum school in Växjö, a very gratifying and fun job. You have no idea how many talented young musicians I've worked with there!
I like to sing all kinds of music, a beautiful melody is a beautiful melody no matter what the genre is! As long as the harmonies get to your heart and soul! I grew up listening to English, American and Swedish folk music so that's come to be the music I always return to, but alongside that, among other musical adventures (f.ex. some 20 years of years of singing, directing and arranging for different choirs, playing classical, medieval and folk music on the recorder, the djembe course I took in Africa and of course the rap-group I had when I was 12...) I'm currently lending my voice to a techno/electro project... (feel free to check out my brother's Space - Pin Tweaks - if you're curious to see how that all works out!)
In my home country I sang with a group called Bellis Alba, a country/pop group with three vocalists and a guitar player. We used to have lots of cover gigs but we also had a "hit" with a song I wrote called "Let Go" - it even made it to the top of the charts of our local radio station for several weeks!
Here in Italy I'm one half of the acoustic duo Mangard with two voices and two guitars . Please listen to my music and tell me what you think!
Sono nata e cresciuta in SmÃ¥land, sono svedese ma da un anno a questa parte vivo in Italia, a Rimini. La mia prima esperienza musicale è stata cantare a casa con mia nonna, poi ho continuato cantando nel coro della scuola e suonando flauto dolce e pianoforte nella scuola di musica della mia cittá. Giorno dopo giorno ho compresi che la mia passione era cantare, suonare e comporre musica perció decisi di studiare musica al liceo a Växjö e poi al conservatorio di Malmö. Dopo svariate esperienze, incluso un lungo viaggio in Italia, ho iniziato a insegnare Musica e Inglese nella scuola Teleborg Centrum di Växjö, un lavoro molto divertente e gratificante. Non avete l..idea con quanti giovani talenti musicali ho lavorato lÃ!
Mi piace cantare qualunque tipo di musica, una bella melodia é una bella melodia e non importa di che genere sia purché le sue armonie vadano dritto al cuore e all..anima! Sono cresciuta ascoltando musica folk inglese, americana e svedese ed è questo tipo di musica a cui ritorno volentieri nonostante le mie frequenti divagazioni musicali (…circa 20 anni di canto, direzione e arrangiamento in diversi cori, ho suonato flauto dolce per musica classica, medioevale e folk, ho frequentato un corso di djembe in Gambia (Africa) e ovviamente il gruppo rap che avevo a 12 anni…) attualmente presto la mia voce ad un progetto techno/elettronico (se sei curioso visita il lo space di mio fratello -Pin Tweaks).
