About Me

I'm not exactly sure how to explain what 86 is, or what it's becoming. It's a house, it's a gallery, it's a group of people who continually prove themselves to be the funniest and most talented friends ever, it's heavily involved in the music scene, it's a place that hosts a few events a year (scavenger hunts, etc.). Furthermore, it honestly doesn't matter to me how you want to define it as long as there is an element of a positive community at the foundation of your opinion. The main reason for the Myspace account is to help in displaying some of the dozens of wonderful pieces of art that we have been so lucky to receive from not only some of our favorite artists, but locals, as well as people from all over the world. The sense of community is unified in the fact that every piece of art in the house (except for four) contain the number 86 in some form or another (86 is our address, but it has come to symbolize much more). The house is open to anyone who wants to stop by and check it out, as long as you let us know you're coming ahead of time. Please view the photos attached for a glimpse at what we've got going on. I will do my best to rotate the pictures every couple of weeks, or so. I will also add the website addresses of the artists shown (if applicable). If you are interested in any of their work, then please go to their sites and feel free to contact them and tell them how you feel. Finally, if there are any artists who might be interested in doing an 86 piece, then please contact me and we can figure it out. If you have any questions, please let me know. Metal up your ass. Thanks.fourscore and six.

Television:

Our television is in the living room and measures about 24 inches. It's kind of a blue/gray color and tends to mesmerize Nels because it allows for him to watch Lifetime, The Oxygen network, 'O', Women's Entertainment, etc. Doctor Nick likes our TV because he can view his Conan DVD's on it. Shannon ignores it, Jazz is confused by it, and Brook occasionally enjoys Jeopardy or Dog the Bounty Hunter. I think it's a Toshiba.

Books:

Ones with pictures of Marvel superheroes

Heroes:

The People's Elvis, Evel Kneivel, T4, Conan the Barbarian, Corg Ballard, Takeru Kobayashi, Robert Hamburger, Sebastiano Terzoli
