About Me

i love exuberantly like a puppy or a five year old, knocking you over just excited to see you. i talk fast and often and throw my life up onto the kitchen table in front of near-strangers- "oh, oops." *tries to scoop it up with some semblance of dignity* i hate grammatical errors and still type with lower case letters. i jump into the most fearful-seeming things and shy away scared of the most everyday and banal. i make weird faces and sing into blowpops in traffic to make other drivers laugh. i constantly fall, trip, wobble, accidentally cut myself in the kitchen, and bang my toes or head on things. once, in high school youth group, i got my head caught in a revolving door at the world trade center. no, i don't know how.******************************************************** ************************************************************ i am on the resident improv cast of Charlotte Comedy Theater and sketch comedy cast of habitual ritual . my husband red & i create an adult puppet improv show that runs on public access tv 21 on tuesdays at 10:30 pm. i am a freelance theatre director and acting/improv coach. i am clearly insane. ************************************************************ ************************************************************ ******************************** "No Strings Attached" episode 1johnny millwater show promo picfound this retro layout at HOT FreeLayouts.com

there are so many, but often i will see a movie and forget 90% of it within a week! ones that stay with me include the princess bride, amelie, endless sunshine of a spotless mind, memento, and better off dead. wacky humor and/or twisting plotlines can totally win me over.

Television:

heroes!!!, buffy the vampire slayer, angel, the 4400, house m.d., firefly, the new doctor who, robot chicken, hgtv. i swear i never get hung up on degrassi high in the middle of the night when i can't sleep... that would be sad and pathetic! ...so i really never do that!!!

Books:

A Prayer for Owen Meany, The Bone People, Kitchen, Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West, The Red Tent, Harry Potter, American Gods, Like Water for Chocolate, Touch, The Great Gatsby, The Secret Life of Bees... just to name a few.
