About Me

I love life, people, the planet and all its things. I am the last human on earth without a digital camera! I grew up singing, painting, playing the piano, guitar & flute, dancing, swimming (specially in the ocean)and acting. I love foreign countries, its people and cultures. Yoga and meditation keep me happy, healthy and grounded. I love learning new things - anything! And I love teaching as well. Improv and Stand-up are my drugs and my chalenges as well. You can see me performing improv w/ the Charlotte Comedy Theater and doing my own bit at the Comedy Zone.

My Interests

Comedy, theatre, music, God, teaching, voluteering, reading, dancing, horses, foreign countries, languages and cultures, ethnic foods, cooking, yoga & meditation. Different kinds of people...and SO much more!

I'd like to meet:

People who enjoy life and laughing, of course! The Dalai Lama, Michael Buble, Ellen Degeneres, Joel Osteen (WAIT: I DID MEET HIM!), Brian Regan, Bill Cosby, J.K. Rowling, Jon Stewart, Eros Ramazzotti, Lance Armstrong....happy yogis, the beautiful children of far away places, and anyone who's making a difference out there. Oh, and my guardian angel too - but I am in NO hurry!

Music:

Everything under the sun. Michael Buble (my future husband), Naturally 7 is my new favorite! Wicked's soundtrack puts me in a happy place! Rent's (broadway or movie) soundtrack always gets me going. Anything by my all time favorite Italian musician Eros Ramazzotti.My favorite song is "Friday I'm In Love" by The Cure. "Home" by Michael Buble is the song that ALWAYS brings me to tears. Cindy Cruse and the Worship team from Lakewood Church make the most beautiful music and that's how I usualy start my day :-)

Movies:

All types w/ the exception of Horror pretty much. Some of my favorites are Old School, Rent, The Emperor's New Groove, Lilo & Stitch, The HP movies, The Wizard of Oz (Totto is a hero!), Elf, Anchorman, A Little Princess, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Pride & Prejudice, The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy & The Bourne Ultimatum, The Notebook, Love Actually and Fight Club

Television:

Too many shows.....ultimate favorites are Friends, 24, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Bewitched, The Colbert Report, CSI, Scooby Doo, Bobby's World, Grey's Anatomy, Family Guy, The Office, Lost, The Daily Show, The Smurfs, HBO's Entourage and my current best is Scrubs - it ALWAYS puts a smile on my face :) Discovery Health's Adoption Stories is the show I have a place for in my heart

Books:

Eat-Pray-Love by Elizabeth Gilbert is my new favorite. The Harry Potter books. Anything written by the Dalai Lama, It's Not About The Bike by Lance Armstrong, Wicked, 40 Days To A Personal Revolution by Baron Baptiste, The Secret, A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle is the book I read time and time again! The Bible, All of the Williams-Sonoma Cookbooks...and foreign language dictionaries AND pictionaries (those are SO fun!)

Heroes:

My sister. The Dalai Lama, The U.S. Troups. All cancer patients, their families, doctors and medical staff who are fighting the fight every second. Jesus. Doctors Without Borders, Yogis everywhere, Anyone who's fighting to better the world.
