About Me

Kreation has been taking New England by storm ever since their first show in December of 2004. In only one year, Earl Jones and Kirk Benttinen had skyrocketed, launching a very new and full two person sound, playing epic piano and drum anthems, jamming quite intense techno and trance-fusion oriented music, and gathered an extremely diverse and loyal fanbase that has begun to play a crucial role in transmitting the band's unique nature. After Kirk Benttinen left the band in March, shortly after his last show at Nectars in VT on February 23rd, there was much deciding to do about Kreation continuing. The search had begun to find a new drummer. After searching for a bit, Chris Ottaviano was mentioned by friends of Earl and they got together. Earl and Chris had instant chemistry and Chris joined the band. Although his time in the band was very short and they only played 2 shows, Chris will always be remembered as a very talented and dedicated drummer. Inspired by countless music, Kreation can't be labeled or categorized as one perticular sound. They have been known to play everything from classical , techno, trance, house, breakbeat, funk, ambient rock, and jazz music. Being instrumental, Kreation takes people on a journey into their own souls by kreating a new world of sound. Concepts of the music include "Music for the End of the World", (full of destruction "the end" and hope "the new beginning"), which was a theme that the band has decided to debut in their first album. Music for the End of the World. Kreation has shared the stage with such acts as Addison Groove Project, Kaki King, Toubab Krewe, U-Melt, Max Creek, Chad Stokes Urmston " from Dispatch and State Radio", and the Assembly Of Dust. Although Kirk and Chris will be missed and Kreation has stopped playing shows, Earl Jones Continues to write new music and make music by himself. Earl is currently pursuing the idea of a solo project using loop pedals and of course the name "Kreation". He now also goes under the alias "EJ3 Robotics".
