Sham Rocks

In early 2006, four friends came together with a wild and crazy idea. That idea became reality when we proudly opened our doors as Sham Rocks in June. The energy and enthusiasm we feel for the business is evident in the venue we have created. Our goal is for the customer to have as much fun as we do!
Conveniently located between the University of Rhode Island and South Countys beaches, Sham Rocks is the premiere entertainment venue in Wakefield, RI. We have the largest dance floor in our area and showcase a variety of live music. Our state-of-the-art sound system attracts local bands as well as headliners. Murphys Brown Dog Bar, a second entertainment venue, is located within the same building. And, yes, there is an actual brown dog named Murphy.
