My Interests

Hailing from Sydney, international DJ Scott Pullen, has been at the top of his game since he was regularly rocking the 15,000 strong crowds at the world renowned RAT parties in the late 1980s, but that doesn’t mean he’s slowing down. Rather, the innovative and cutting edge DJ is immersing himself deeper into the scene with more energy and passion than ever.

In Australia, Scott Pullen occupies an interesting corner of the DJ world. Not one to specifically seek out the limelight, Scott is one of only several high profile DJs that can honestly boast the range of experience that he has. From supporting the cream of international DJ talent to playing private parties for Hollywood stars; or from Sydney’s massive Mardi Gras party to the official Sydney 2000 Olympics Closing Party with 100,000 people; and from the the most exclusive bars to the most intimate underground clubs, Scott’s rollcall is vast. Asking him curly questions elicits a knowing smile that suggests that for this man, it’s not just about the music, it’s about living life to the fullest, enjoying music & the people he shares it with. Scott's set's are always full of energy & are highly animated.

He goes some way to explaining the variety of his successes with his philosophy that “there are only two types of music – good and bad”. So whether he is playing at an intimate party for Keanu Reeves to having tens of thousands of party goers in the palm of his hand, Scott approaches the task with the same open mind and has over two decades of experience to back it up.

Scott is working a cutting edge electro/tech set at the moment, and it's not for the faint hearted. Taking a look around the crowd at one of his parties will show you that his crowd has the same hard-hitting energy that he does. He brings it out in people. That's just how he is...

Scott has supported an enviable & diverse list of internationals, including Armand Van Helden, Fatboy Slim, Steve Lawler, Pete Heller, Tiefschwarz, John Aquaviva, DJ Dan, Donald Glaude, Victor Calderone, Masters at Work, Ferry Corsten, Groove Armada, Freeform Five, Jay-J, Chris Lum, Tracy Young, Boy George, Incognito, Raphael Sebbag, Gil Sott-Heron, Ronnie Jordan, Ricky Stone, Kai from NYC, Grace Jones & Tito Puente… the list goes on.

Having supported world-famous DJ talent & blown crowds away with his energy & music at huge festivals like the Seoul World DJ Festival, Big Day Out, Burning man, Splendour in the Grass, Harbour Party, Sweetwater, Vibes on a Summer's Day, Mardi Gras or the Sydney Festival, Scott has got itchy feet. As the Australian representative at the recent World DJ Festival in Seoul, South Korea, and recognition by DJ Magazine in its Top 100 DJ Poll, it’s only a matter of time before Scott is even more recognized & appreciated on the international scene.

Away from the DJ booth, Scott runs a successful DJ agency, booking some of Australia's most talented DJs both nationally & internationally.

Studying Radio announcing & presentation at the Australian Film, Television & Radio School, Scott has championed new electronic music on radio networks including; DEX 96.9FM, Bay FM, Kiss FM, 2 RES FM, Rhythm FM, Northwave (Japan) & Cross FM (Japan). Away from performing, Scott previously worked as a buyer for Australia’s largest music retailer, Sanity, before moving to Universal Music as the National Dance Consultant. Scott also programmed the dance & lounge channels for Australia’s Foxtel & Austar digital networks.
