Bio
Damian has been at the forefront of dance music since 99. The influences in his art more recently come from the likes of James Zabiela , Steve Lawler, Eric Prydz and many many more who contributed to his unique style of House.
Damian is known for his adaptability, blending a wide variety of music genres with great success and hates being pigeon holed into genres.
At the young age of 21 , Damian became resident in the main arena for Ministry of Sound Bangkok. He often opened for world class dj's, such as Paul van Dyk, Oakenfold etc. It didn't take long until the buzz spread across Asia and Damian was off on a tour of India for the world famous Bacardi Blast parties blowing away the crowds of up to 5,000 people in Calcutta, Mumbai, Dehli and Bangalor.
After a year's residency in Bangkok, Damian was invited back to familiar territory , Blackpool as resident DJ alongside Jason Fubar for the grand opening of UK's largest nightclub, The Syndicate playing to over 10,000 clubbers a week. After another full year back in Blackpool It was time to move on.
After two years of planning, Damian finally opened Ministry of Sound Taipei in Taiwan alongside fellow resident and Ibiza legend DJ Buff Wise to a crowd of over 6,000 while over 2,000 people were still cueing to get in to the club!! Working this time alongside the likes of The Crystal Method , Danny Howells , Sander Klienenberg , Nic Fanciulli and lots more helping Damian's style evolve even further. "Working alongside all the big names and studying them play has helped me take my style and develop it into something much more interesting , I take the best bits from all the guys Ive worked with and twist it to fit in with what I do" says Damian.
Whilst there he has also played many private parties at Ministry of Sound for the likes of GQ mag , FHM , Mercedes SLK party and MTVs summer Gala Party with a live broadcast,
Ministry of Sound Taipei has paved the way to more gigs around Asia, including more gigs and residencies in the UK , Dubai , Bangkok , KL , Jakarta , Seoul and many more.
Here and Now...
Damian has just finished up a two year residency with Ministry of Sound Singapore. Each and every weekend and gaining a great local following running his own night appropriately called FILTH , the name says it all..
Also studying in Singapore , Damian is in the middle of completing a BA in Recording Arts at SAE Singapore.
Damian reads his audience and manages to adjusts to his surroundings. He shows his burning passion for what he does and it strikes those of us that stand and watch him play. This dj is someone you will be forced to watch, now and in the future.
He has recently returned to the UK to focus on his production work , so watch this space for future releases and collaborations...
