MarWax is better known as the creator of MarWax.com, which was developed back in 1994 and was one of the two sites that helped the turntablism evolution at its birth (the other was wicked-styles.com). With hands on reviews that featured not only on site but on press and other websites around the globe, MarWax.com quicly become the only stop for turntablist hardware.
Apart from hardware reviews, "the Turntablistic site" as it was called back from its friends featured interviews from many beginner and accomplished turntablists. Many of them are now featuring in some of the top crews, like Deus, Doc Rice, Relm, Streak from the STA crew, Q-bert and Yoga Frog from the Piklz, Kuttin Kandy from the 5th Platoon, Noisy Stylus and many more!
MarWax has produced and mastered several hip-hop/trip-hop whatever you wanna call them tracks, including a total make over edit of the Timecode Theme published in 2001 by Warehouse Records (Electric Youth Experiment Vol.1) and the Turntablistic Remix on Terror X Crew's 'Mi fovasai' cd single with Sparky T on the decks skratching the track. His crew back in the days was the ceNObites with Sparky T, Everlast and Mikrel. Sometime in 2002 he stepped away from the music production scene for several years in favor of other professional targets but now he is back as a full time member of 'The Low co' and back in his personal studio.
The all time favorite turntablists site "marwax.com" is now being remixed together with the creation of "turntablism.gr". Stay tuned for more info...
