About Me

Born in 1971 (I'm an old boy, I know), started listening to music and collecting vinyls at a very young age. My collection is now as big as almost 15.000 titles. Got into hip hop and djing in 86-87, and after listening to the 'Adventures of GMF' and DJ Cheese' 86 DMC set, I decided that was what I wanted to do. And I did it. After having won an unofficial dj battle in 1989, I entered the first ever DMC Greek battle in 1991, won it and represented Greece for the first time in the World DJ Championships. The rest is history: winning all titles until calling it quits in 97 (2 years with my Smartie Al), re-entering again in 99 (New York), beiing a member of FF.C, one of the best hip hop groups in Greece ever, doing session scratch works for various groups and singers and working for various projects. I was also co-presenting a youth show for Greece' biggest tv channels on a weekly basis, during 1991-1993, where I introduced scratching to a wider audience for the first time (in Greece). What am I up to today? Still practising a lot, judging at the World DMC battles, producing a radio show focusing on old school turntablism stuff on www.turntableradio.com, and very recently I joined the development team of Eclectic breaks, the company, that produced the world famous Pro X Fader. I play various gigs all over Greece, spinning hip-hop, r'n'b and funky stuff.I have played in various clubs all over Greece, such as: Akrotiri, Venue, Privilege, Mao, Plus Soda, Bebek and lots more.At the moment I am Mao Club's resident r'n'b dj (every Thursday). I also run my own dj course at SAE (www.sae.edu), teaching all the aspects of djing from the basic to the most advanced stuff. I collaborate with both Big Fiasco Records and Real Stuff Records, the premium greek hip-hop labels. All I can say for now, is that there are lots of exciting things and projects coming, so...stay focused.
