About Me

DJ ALX is Greece's most influential and skillfull beat maker / producer. He was born from Greek parents in Detroit Michigan of USA and moved to Greece in mid 80s. He has over 10 years of discography in his portfolio and has produced numerous tracks and records throughout the years. He engineers and mixes all of his tracks. ALX has also been into directing and editing music videos and has done most of the hip hop music videos in the 90s. Working with an Amiga 500 with a hardware sampling interface and then upgrading to a Kurzweil K2000RS, he is the first gear efficient hip hop beatmaker / producer in Greece to use a sampler. Being a producer and a former member of Terror X Crew with 2 of his records turning gold, being the main producer supervisor of Ihokratoria, ALX has lot of stories to tell.Present: He has put aside both Terror X Crew Remix Album (former member) and The Ihokratoria Archive DVD. After visiting the US hehas returned to pick up where he left.Future: He has already started writting a book called "Notebook of a hip hop disciple" describing everything that's involved in the process of making not only a record but everything that envolves the music industry thus closing the book of his adventurous music career in Greece.
