About Me

Making her acting and musical stage debut at age five in Toronto was the perfect first step for Hayley Gene, and she has never looked back. Gravitating to all things musical, she has grown into a confident, talented songwriter and performer. Her lyrics are poetic, her melodies memorable and her voice clearly engages the soul.Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Hayley Gene has nurtured her performing talents. Compelling thousands with the a capella quartet The 4 Corners since1995, Hayley Gene had the opportunity to explore her love of choral singing and develop her strength in harmonizing. Hayley Gene and the 4 Corners have toured across Canada performing with her father Fred Penner and that experience has greatly influenced in shaping her music career and encouraged her to begin her own journey.Now, Hayley Gene is emerging as a vibrant songwriter and solo artist. Her solo music journey has carried her from various stages and coffee houses across Canada. Hayley Genes performances blend a variety of musical genres combining strong melody and harmony with her poetic lyrical style.
