I am a “tweedy academic” in disguise (or maybe not). My BA is in Museum Studies; focus on Ancient civilizations (Ancient Near East, Greece and Mesoamerica). I love ancient/classical civlizations and their art, but you can count me out after 323 BC (BCE for you PC folks). Alexander makes me snooze, so don't ask. Now I am just working on my Masters in Library Science, trust me you don't want to know about that. I am an Archivist and I love what I do (one of the few people that I know that loves their job).
Oh, it would be a shame to leave out that I collect comics (DC Vertigo), I love my record collection (Punk, 80s and Hardcore) and adore anything Doctor Who. Hell, I even used to ride BMX Freestlye Yo! Shockingly, as of about a year ago I could still do a trick or two (on my fancy chrome Haro)and we're not talking Endos!
My “cool” friends think I’m “geeky” (not in that trendy way) and my “geeky” friends think I’m “cool”. So you figure it out.....
