I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I get up, have a couple cups of coffee and then play music for a couple of hours... I love hanging out with my girl, playing music with other people, maybe writing something, going for a bike ride, sharing a meal with good folks and being the table that the other people stop their conversations to listen to...

My Interests

I'm a musician. I spend a lot of time trying to keep up with projects: birds may bite (songs), Hell's Bellows (accordion quartet), Seattle Harmonic Voices (overtone singing group), Boxitania (multi-media parade nationality), and Monktail Creative Music Concern (improvisation).

I'd like to meet:

I'm not desperate to meet new people but it's great when it happens. Generally these people are idiosyncratic and passionate about it. I'd like to work on the amount of quality time I have with the people I already know.

Music:

I'm a pretty crappy music fan. I'm not the guy who'll turn you onto something cool. I'll most likely learn something from you...

Movies:

Titles that I can think of right now are Spirited Away, American Beauty, Harold & Maude... Al's got me into Errol Morris stuff lately.

Television:

I only watch tv when I visit someone. I listen to the radio alot though. This American Life and Fresh Air are huge.

Books:

I'm currently reading a Studs Terkel book about WWII

Heroes:

Richard Feynman, Stuart Dempster, Bowie, Bach, Cage, Michael Hedges, etc.

My Blog

goals

Here are some goals I wrote down.  They don't have a specific timeline.  They're sort of like affirmations.  I feel like there's a higher level of commitment involved with putting ...
