About Me

If you are a BAND with a fresh new sound for me to check out, or a NEW FRIEND who would like to connect, great!!! Please visit
www.myspace.com/djtamaramusic
and add my music profile instead of this one. Thanks!
At present, I am engrossed in my work on iOrpheus , an interactive public opera that has grown out of William Duckworth's Cathedral project which I have been a part of for the last decade. I am helping with Creative Management of the social networking and viral marketing aspects in the non-meat parallel worlds. (Oh good, another thing to keep off the resume lest we scare the hiring managers!) I will also be performing as a member of the Cathedral Band at the Suncorp Plaza and throughout the final event.
iOrpheus is a public opera based on the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice and written for and with South Bank Precinct in Brisbane, Australia.
Performed on iPods, mobile phones, and laptops, along with interactive installations and live performers, iOrpheus will take place on Friday, August 31, 2007 in the streets, parks, and promenades of South Bank.
The intent of this “public opera” is to create guided moments where park visitors—using their everyday digital devices—may interact artistically with parallel worlds as they move through the events of their daily lives.
I will be in Brisbane beginning August 24th and through the concert on August 31st, if you are interested in talking more about the project or meeting up there, do please get in touch! Go to www.iorpheus.com to find out how you can participate before and during the final concert, no matter what continent you're on.

My Interests

music (all flavors), real connections with other people, singing, good food, my rowboat, fire, photography, my amazing pussycat Dolphy, martial arts, romance, travel, sunshine, those little french sorbets that come frozen in a whole orange rind, stupid little crafts projects just for fun, and pretentious/precocious conversations about art, life, and philosophy. Notice that "hanging out online" is not one of these, and please understand why I won't be spending a bunch of time chatting with yall on here. You're welcome to come out to the house and talk for real.

I'd like to meet:

Old friends who want to keep in touch and help me through this.New people should head on over to www.myspace.com/djtamaramusic
