, a showcase of local choreography set to live “buttrock“ (classic hard-rock music by bands such as AC/DC, Scorpions, Def Leppard, Whitesnake, and Lita Ford) music performed by a cast of stellar local musicians, co-produced by Diana Cardiff, Bob Gregory, Jana Hill, Matt Mulkerin, Pam Gregory, Steve Newton and John Hollis. Buttrock Suites choreographers bios:
* Diana Cardiff (Co-producer/Choreographer) is a performer with the Pat Graney Company, Wade Madsen and Dancers, and was a founding member of the d9 Dance Collective (1992-2004). Diana has a BFA from Cornish College of the Arts.
* Bob Gregory (Co-producer/Choreographer) Bob was a founding member of Rockhopper Dance and has performed with several choreographers locally.
* Pamela A. Gregory (Co-producer/Choreographer) is currently working with Laura Curry / Performance Memoirs, and has performed with locate performance group and d9 Dance Collective. She loves kitties and butterflies. Purr!!!
* Jana L. Hill (Co-producer/Choreographer) is a founding member of Rockhopper Dance and Buttrock Suites. She likes to dance fancy steps and plant fancy plants.
* Matt Mulkerin (Co-producer/Choreographer) graduated from Washington University with a degree in Japanese, which he promptly applied to his dance career with MAD CO in St. Louis. Matt was also one of the co-founders of Rockhopper Dance.
Buttrock Suites guest choreographer and performer bios:
* David Benefiel with sixteen years of theater and dance under his belt, is back after his five year hiatus to live his dream of being a buttrock dancer. This will be his second show with Buttrock Suites since his promotion from groupy to cast member in Buttrock Suites... Live at Neumo’s..
* Sara Jinks is a member of the Pat Graney Company, and has performed with d9 Dance Collective and Crispin Spaeth Dance Group. She is also a licensed massage therapist and a registered yoga teacher.
* Kate Kerschbaum is a Seattle native with a BA in dance and anthropology from Middlebury College. She is a former longtime member of d9 Dance Collective and has worked extensively and toured with Seattle choreographer Peggy Piacenza. This is her second appearance in Buttrock Suites.
* Ryan Parks, after years as a Rockette, is happy to finally be performing such serious art in Seattle. This is his second appearance on the Buttrock stage, most recently being seen in Buttrock Suites... Live! at Neumo’s and the Brown Derby’s “Aliens” at Rebar.
* Juliet Waller Pruzan is a dancer, choreographer and playwright who has been living in Seattle since 1992. She will be performing her piece "I Am Italy Now" which premiered in Buttrock Suites II...Sweeter.
* Ross Whippo has worked around Seattle as a stage manager/light designer/accidental performer for the last 5 years. He has enjoyed inappropriate relationships with Dina Martina, The Brown Derby Series at Re-bar and Hedwig and the Angry Inch amongst others. He enjoys tequila.
Butt-rock (but-rk): rock n roll music produced from the mid 70s to present that has the following characteristics: four or five members with long, feathered hair or mullets, wailing guitar solos, distorted guitars, and lyrics about women, sex, drugs, Satan, and fast cars.

* Steven Newton (bass) "band director extraordinaire" has been lucky enough to be the music director for several beloved plays and shows in Seattle such as "Hedwig and the Angry Inch", "What You Sing Might Save You", and "Nelson sings Nilsson".

* John Hollis (Drummer/percussionist) Past projects include the rock musical "Hedwig and the Angry Inch", "What You Sing Might Save You", and "Nelson Sings Nilsson". He has also performed with artists Gerald Collier, Voyager One, Ruston Mire, Sister Psychic, the Squirrels, and Ian Moore.

* Rick Miller (lead vocals, guitar) is a Seattle area singer, songwriter and performer. When he is not butt-rocking he can often be found playing bluegrass and other traditional styles with his trio the Half Brothers. His musical contributions have been heard in many Seattle theatrical productions.

* Dan Schmidt (guitar, keyboards, vocals) performed live and recorded with Flowmotion and the The Doorz (tribute). He currently performs with Freedomtribe and The Drunken Guitarists and is also a solo performer.

* Aaron "Coleslaw" Taylor (lead guitar) is a member of the following bands: Survey Cez, the Squirrels, Radio Nationals, Dr. Feelgood and the GirlGirlGirlz (Motley Crue Tribute), and performed in "Nelson sings Nilsson".

* Brad Mowen (lead vocals) is currently the frontman for The Accused. Past involvements include: BURNING WITCH, AVSA, 90 PROOF, MOMMY, SWEATY NIPPLES, and APES OF WRATH.

Influences: The great 80's (hair) metal-bands like Europe, Twisted Sister, Def Leppard, Queen, Lita Ford, Guns n Roses, Journey, Blue Oyster Cult, Black Sabbath, AC/DC, Aldo Nova, Bad Company, Iron Maiden, Ozzy, Whitesnake, Van Halen, Night Ranger, Scorpions, Ratt, L.A. Guns, Faster Pussycat, Motley Crue, The Cult, Skid Row, Kiss, Runaways, Iggy Pop, David Bowie, Cinderella, Poison, Dokken, well, you get the picture!

Videographer: Patrick Baroch has videotaped and edited 3 of the 4 BUTTROCK SUITES shows turning them into DVDs for the cast and crew. "Queen Spirit," a short film based on a piece from the original BUTTROCK SUITES, show played in the 2003 Seattle Lesbian & Gay Film Festival.
