About Me

Let's see...
These days, I play guitar, bass, drums, vocals, pedal steel (E9), Lap steel (C6), Dobro (open G), a bit of banjo, some keys, and hope to add violin to the list in 07. I have been in or involved with an ever-growing number of bands/projects including, but not limited to:
Morphius,
Mad Hatter,
Bitter End,
The Family,
Hartwood (1994-present),
Coven,(1993-94 and there are rumblings of some activity in 07...)
Tinn Lizzy (Thin Lizzy tribute)
Pattitude (Benatar tribute... nice $$s! HAHA!)
Gangstas Of Love,
Midnight Idols (2005-present),
White Knuckle Ride (session pedal and lap steel)
Chris Davis and the Lovecraft (session pedal steel),
Junior Juggernaut (session pedal steel),
Promosapien Inc. (musical director/session player, and occasional voice talent for television/radio adverts... got into this last year... not bad gig!)
Janet Adams Family
Last Call Orchestra (950KJR House Band '07)

and various sit-ins with many gifted players from here to there...
I have been blessed to work with producers the likes of Kurt Bloch (Zeke, Supersuckers, Nashville Pussy, Peter Buck of REM), Jack Endino (Nirvana, Mudhoney, TAD, and too many other noteworthies to mention), and Randy Burns (1st Suicidal Tendencies* 'engineer', Megadeth, Death Angel...), and music has further blessed me with interstate/international travel, a number of local and national television appearances, press, and a published release or two along the way. I reckon I manage to have a good time...
My 12 yr-old son Ozzy is also musical! He drums in a band called Big Blue Fuzz , and they are quite good. Watch out for them, as they are on the way up!
I am co-founder of country outlaws Hartwood ! Also responsible for Guitar/pedal steel and maybe half the vocal duties! We may be the best time you'll have watching a country band! We do originals like "Ain't No Restrainin' Order Stronger'n Our Love" and "How Much For Head?", as well as honkytonk/bluegrass/outlaw versions of songs by Alice Cooper, SLAYER, Sublime, Geto Boys, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Pink Floyd...
Also:
I play lead and rhythm guitar in the Midnight Idöls . Heavy metal shall rise again to blacken the skies and turn the seas blood red! This is no Limp Staind Korn Bisket!!! I guess you'd have to see the band to believe it...
Midnight Idöls are keepin' it real with some brand new original old-school kick-ass METAL!!!
Simply put:
WE RULE THE NIGHT!!!!!!!!!
DO NOT BE RIPPED OFF WHEN YOU PURCHASE MUSIC BY OZZY'S LEGENDARY 1st SOLO BAND... CLICK ABOVE VIDEO FOR INFO!!!!!! PLEASE CLICK!!!!!!!
Like father like son... Ozz with his kit... 12 yrs old and he's already rollin' a rock group: the BIG BLUE FUZZ!!!

W/ mohawk back in the day!

My Interests

Never stop until your good becomes better, and your better becomes the best. Communism doesn't work because people like to own stuff Anything played wrong twice in a row is the beginning of an arrangement. If you wind up with a boring, miserable life because you listened to your mom, your dad, your teacher, your priest or some guy on TV telling you how to do your shit, then YOU DESERVE IT Information is not knowledge, Knowledge is not wisdom, Wisdom is not truth, Truth is not beauty, Beauty is not love, Love is not music and Music is THE BEST Playing guitar is like fucking -- you never forget it.............. Unless you're really, really stupid. There is no such thing as a dirty word. Nor is there a word so powerful, that it's going to send the listener to the lake of fire upon hearing it. I have a message to deliver to the cute people of the world...if you're cute, or maybe you're beautiful... there's MORE OF US UGLY MOTHERFUCKERS OUT THERE THAN YOU!! So watch out. Remember there's a big difference between kneeling down and bending over. It would be easier to pay off our national debt overnight than neutralize the long range effects of our national stupidity. The only thing that seems to band all nations together is that their governments are universally bad. Politics is the entertainment branch of industry. Without music to decorate it, time is just a bunch of boring production deadlines or date's by which bills must be paid. Most rock journalism is people who can't write interviewing people who can't talk for people who can't read. Most people wouldn't know good music if it came up and bit them in the ass. Pop is the new politics. There is more truth in pop music than in most political statements rendered by our leaders, even when you get down to the level of really simplified pop records. What I'm saying is that's how bad politics is. ~~~Frank Zappa 1940-1993~~~

Music, sports, computers, women, my son, my dog, my friends, comedy, horror films, dirtbikes, bicycling, exercise and fitness, drinking, chasing cocktail waitresses, performing for an audience... I guess you could call me an attention whore
Take the quiz: "Which Dead Rock Star Are You?"

Jimi Hendrix
Jimi Hendrix! You're influential to many young and old, and very talented. You most likely good with your hands... are you? You are very happy and like to experiment with drugs. Oh, he died in 1970 from a supposed drug overdose, it's unknown what drug.* *quiz says It's unknown what drug. Contrary to popular belief (heroin), it was a mix of sleeping pills and whiskey. Furthermore, he'd have lived if not for the ambulance attendant mistaking his attempt to vomit for a seizure, pushing back his head, and tightening his restraints! "Vomit inhalation" according to the coroner's report.

I'd like to meet:

People who are not boring, illiterate, irritating, whiney, or otherwise a drag...Folks who hit it off with my son...
