As far as famous people who are still living: David Bowie, Morrissey, Paul McCartney, Olivia Newton-John (hi-fived her at a concert a few years ago but still haven't met her)On a totally unrelated note: See my videos below which include the funniest thing I've seen on T.V. in ages, me on Jimmy Day, AND a cameo by me at Jim Norton's free MySpace show at Caroline's (I'm the one in the Monster Rain T-shirt)Jim Norton - Secret Stand-Up

The Beatles, Tim Curry, Morrissey/The Smiths, David Bowie, ELO, The Pretenders, Queen, Peter Frampton, Elton John, 80's newwave groups, The Cure, XTC, Erasure, Duran Duran, ABC, Culture Club, Meat Loaf, old school hip hop, 80's freestyle, cheesy pop songs, 80's rock and hair bands like Guns N' Roses, Whitesnake, oldies particularly 60's pop and rock, the songwriting talents of Paul Williams, Carole King, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson before he went nuts, and other stuff too numerous to mention..I like Music OKAY?? .. .... ..
Rocky Horror, Labyrinth, Welcome to the Dollhouse, Clerks, indie films, Hitchcock (especially Psycho and Rebecca), Spielberg, cult movies like Clockwork Orange, Phantom of the Paradise, etc. Classic movies like Streetcar Named Desire, La Strada, To Sir With Love, movie musicals like West Side Story, Guys N' Dolls, Grease, Sweet Charity, etc. All the Muppet films particularly Muppet Movie and Muppet Treasure Island, Follow That Bird, almost all of Tim Curry's films but especially Times Square, Blue Money, Sorted, Clue, and way too much crap to name on here get real...
Three's Company, Muppet Show, "old school" Sesame Street (getting back into it again now that I got more friggin' channels on my cable system- recent episodes are not as hideous as last few seasons), Family Ties, The Osbournes, Mets games, Lucky Louie (for Lil' Jimmy Norton!!), VH-1 Classic (which we FINALLY got). I don't watch any other new garbage on T.V. SICK of the "reality" shows, medical shows, law shows, and hokey sitcoms that have been done a hundred times.
Catcher in the Rye, Salem's Lot, lots of other stuff by Stephen King, stuff by Mary Higgins Clark, Anne Rice, etc.
Jim Henson (because he's a genius and has blessed the world with his artistic vision and talent. And knowing folks who worked closely with him, a helluva nice guy) John Lennon (genius as well. Any guy who can write amazing pop/rock records early on and then later pour his heart and soul into singing about love for the people in his life "Woman" "Beautiful Boy", and then his angst "Mother", etc." is a genius in every sense of the word. His art, his being will never be replaced. Fuck you, Mark David Chapman.) , Jim Davis (for being the influence in making me want to draw, and live through the torture that is art school/training. Another helluva nice guy who I actually got to meet and a very clever businessman. Paws, Inc. RULES)
