We are excited to inform you of our new endowment fund
SAMAYA, a charity gallery, Senzor.
Gallery is opening on December 2007 and we are located in the center of Prague, Czech Republic.
The endowment fund supports the social and educational status of orphans. We are joining forces with representatives of nonprofit organizations in Nepal and India and together we feel we can take action in a positive manner. This gallery project is one of many ways to raise the financial support which is needed in this part of the world. We believe that art influenced by the surrounding environment in one part of the world can be beneficial to others in other parts of the world.
Our main goal is to create an alternative and lively space downtown for young independent artists and creative people. With this space they are given the possibility to exhibit their art and meet other artists.
Our ideas of cooperation are to exhibit donated art, sell to the public and sponsors, and redistribute the revenue to Nepal and use the revenue to support our cooperating artists.
"We do not want to share compunction and distribute aid blindly. We want action with a touch of reality, happiness, and growth for all participants."
Please, if you feel there is anything you can help us with, support us or contribute with your own art, let us know so we can find a way to join ideas and creative minds to further this action.
We are also looking forward to any suggestions you may have and we would really appreciate if you could inform your friends or anyone whom you may think would be interested in this project.
