Band Members: BC Grooves plays live as a three-piece band and is based in Salt Lake City Utah. The band consists of:BC (Benjamin Carter) vocals, acoustic and electric guitar, harmonica....Rehan Jacob bass.....Rory Carrera drums.....And whenever a Wurlitzer is present anybody can play....
Influences: Some of the artists that have influenced BC over the years are: 311, Hendrix, SRV, Paul Simon, Beatles, James Taylor, David Gilmore, DMB, G love, Lenny Kravitz, Chili Peppers, Living color, Dylan, CSNY, Zepplin, Prince and Santana. could go on forever.......
Sounds Like: BC's guitar riffs are hendrixy and simony with a funky folk twist. His solo guitar style is very much influenced by SRV and Santana. The lyrics are rap folky like g love yet tend to stay on the melodic side rather than straight up rap.
