Using shades of light and dark to express the varying moods of the human mind and spirit, her vocals float delicately over a piano and chamber orchestra one minute, and vault to the stratosphere over a crashing band the next minute. "What I appreciate most in music is how it has the ability to express feelings, thoughts and ideas emotionally and sometimes with or without words" states Jessica. Using her voice as an instrument as well as to convey her lyrics is something that the listener will notice when listening to Jessica sing. "When I sing I am totally alive" says Jessica, and the music reflects many facets of everyday life - struggle, longing, reflection, and passion.
