About Me

O, yesss, I say it plain,America never was America to me,And yet I swear this oath—America will be! -Langhston Hughes'I'm a troubled maan'(C)Marvin Gaye From da eastside San Jose LIved in and visited different places like Chicago, Atlanta, Frisco. Been on a few projects here and there. First solo song I did was on Peanut Butter Wolfs 'Vinyl Weighs a Ton' I did the track 'Unorthodox'. In Atlanta I was in a group called Visceral, but we never released anything, just ran around Atlanta freestylin and battelin. Came back to the Bayand hooked back up wit my cousin Kyno (who got me started in this rap shit). We formed the group 'Knivin Bastards' (Me, Kyno, Playa Priest, Buck) and we released like two tapes back in '95 and '96. Then I got down with the Underbombers (a San Jose crew) which consisted of Dave Dub, Persevere, Kyno, Playa Priest, Zest da Smoker, DJ Roe,Tape Masta Steph, Zest 1. Did a project wit them called the White Label Chronicles, did another project I oversaw called 'Simple Logic' with Kyno and that ninja LosDouble. Persevere and Dub introduced me to Encore & the Arkitect. Started fuckin wit dem niggaz. Got on the Executive Lounge Project (Encore, Arkitect, Turban, Holocaust, Dub, Persevere, and 50 Grand) and did another song on there called 'Unorthodox' This time featuring Dave Dub. I was on another compilation called 'Mr Aeks-Savagery's Blunted Blade' Did a song called "Subliminal Slang". The latest mixtape I was on was Zion-I 'Family Business' mixtape. I was on the song "Places" Featuring D.U.S.T., Pep Love & A-Plus, C-Rayz Walz, Raashan Ahmad & me of course. So I've just finished up my album Titled "3 (R U Ready?!) Features appearances by J $mit of the High/My nigga Encore/My homey Deuce Eclipse of the Zion I crew/My homey SILENCE from da East SJ 2 da East O/Young Rick James on guitars/Louise Popodopolis produced 2 tracks(using all live instrumentation xcept for drums)/my homey ACE is featured on the guitar as well on 'Good Sicness' (mufuckah went off!). Most of it was produced by my cuzzo Kyno...we got chemistry dat goes WAAAY BACK! DJ WorldWise also produced some tracks and provided cuts. We used a lot of LIVE instruments on this project. I even played the Fender Rhodes on 2 or 3 tracks (Diamond Life, You look good). This album is solid. I tried my best just to create good music. Don't get me wrong though, cause a lot of these tracks is hard like a criminal, but hey that's just peace TRUST ME DON'T TRY ME! I'm not tryin to make an anthem or "SPIT HOT FIYAAAAH"...I'm just makin music man....and I hope ya'll can dig dat sheee-I-Yit!
