About Me

Prague-based flautist Robert Fischmann is a graduate of the Prague Conservatoire, where he had studied with prof. Frantisek Malotin. While a student at the Faculty of Arts of the Charles University, he met with his current bandmates from Taliesyn , a folk-rock band that has facilitated his progress on the path of discovering new genres of music. Currently a member of the Celtic-influenced Irish Dew , he also colaborates with a variety of Czech artists such as the Linha Singers, C&K Vocal, Michal Hromek consort, Petr Bende, Baroque Jazz Quartet. Besides playing the concert flute, he is also an expert player of Irish whistles and Middle-Eastern nays. He was the producer for the upcoming debut by Taliesyn called Jizni Amnesie (Southern Amnesia).

Below is a video of Irish Dew performing "Tanec stromu".
