But sensei I can beat this guy.

About Me

This is Bobby. Most of you would remember me from The Karate Kid where I was disqualified in the semi-final match in the All Valley Karate Tournament on December 19th, 1984. The year before I was runner-up. I've always been a nice guy really. I never stood for all that Cobra Kai had to offer. I only joined Cobra Kai and did karate because I was good at it, but never really had much enthusiasm for it. And Cobra Kai was the most prestigious dojo in all the Los Angeles area so I joined. I was always around my buddies Johnny, Tommy, Dutch, and Jimmy, (and Jerry, Billy, the uncredited member who is actually Elisabeth Shue's brother, and the fat guy of Cobra Kai) but never really wanted to take part in their bullying of others. You can see it in my face throughout the movie that I wasn't really happy fulfulling what Cobra Kai is all about, but I took the oath to be Cobra Kai. I was even faithful to my sensei John Kreese. I honestly think I was the best fighter in Los Angeles, but John wanted me to put Daniel Larusso out of commision in the semi-final match. I could have beaten Johnny I think, but he truly was the chosen one. He had the true aura of a champion. What was really unfortunate is, since I could have beaten Danny boy, we could have had an all Cobra Kai final like the year before (you can hear the announcer make mention of the all Cobra Kai final during the introduction of the semifinals), but John Kreese let his own personal feelings of hatred for Larusso get in the way. Either that or Kreese knew that Daniel would have beaten Johnny and he didn't want to take that risk, so he used me to put him out of commision. Cobra Kai could have remained tops in all of the Valley and remained the most distinguished dojo ever. I still don't understand why John Kreese and all my Cobra Kai buddies hated Daniel so much. I mean they would literally go out of their way to make Larusso's life hell. What did make me feel better is that my fellow Cobra Kai buddies came to realize what kind of person John Kreese was towards the end of the All Valley Tournament in 84. I could say "I told you so" to all of them, but I am an honorable individual. My full name is actually Bobby Brown.

My Interests

Helping others, being the best I can be, being a leader, and the art of karate.

I'd like to meet:

I would like to meet nice people who I can just be myself around and don't have to worry about being a bully because that is not my style. I would also like to catch up with Daniel Larusso so we can simply have a friendly match because I know I could have beat him in the tournament. And finally I would like to meet up with Terry Silver and Mike Barnes and show them that respect, honor, and true compassion are the way to victory and not ridiculous barbaric tactics.

Music:

Joe Esposito, Commuter, Gang of Four, Baxter Robinson, Broken Edge, Paul Davis, Shandi, The Flirts, and St. Regis. And I am still upset at the fact that Bill Conti's original score from The Karate Kid was not included in the soundtrack. Also the song "The Ride" by Matches is not included... you know the song as us Cobra Kai ride out bikes down to the beach. I could care less that Bananarama's "Cruel Summer" is not included however.

Movies:

Anything that deals with true friendship and honor.

Television:

Television is negative, but I did enjoy television back in the 80's.

Books:

I believe through reading we can achieve the knowledge that makes us strong mentally, which is more important than physical toughness.

Heroes:

I believe we can be our own heroes.

My thoughts on the tournament and life in general.
