PRESS RELEASE: Orlando, FL~ One Less Reason has just been added to the much aniticipated 10 Years tour that kicks off early next month. The unsigned Myspace phenoms have managed to grab a few endorsement deals and a movie soundtrack and have rocked their way into the hearts of 95,000 Myspace fans. The band has long been a favorite of the Southeast, selling out shows in Memphis, Jackson and Macon and spending time on radio playlists from Michigan to Mississippi. One Less Reason's multi-format music and cross market appeal has postioned them for huge radio success. "They are in an incredible position, marketing wise" says their publicist Stephanie Christie, "To be able to open for acts like One Republic and book Top 40 radio interviews one day and dominate the charts of Alternative Addiction and active rock radio the next day is quite impressive."Their numbers show them selling 30,000 units independently and logging 100,000 downloads. Their website welcomes upwards of 12,000 visitors each day, so it is no wonder why retailers are knocking on the door of this unsigned wonder. They just inked a deal with BUCKLE clothing stores that will have their music spinning in every one of their retail outlets nationwide. The company also plans to use the bands image for print and promotional purposes. This comes on the heels of another clothing sponsorship from Brazilian 'green retailers' GOOC. The environmentally friendly company has just launched it's line of products here in the U.S that include t-shirts, shoes and accessories made from recycled materials such as tires, plastic bottles and canvas and feels that One Less Reason reaches the brand's demographic. The most exciting news this month, however, has to be the announcement of the release of the feature film "Hero Wanted" which features the band's hottest single "A Day To Be Alone". The movie stars Cuba Gooding Jr. and Ray Liotta and is schedule to hit select theatres on April 29.
