Life sends us in unexpected directions sometimes. Barely a year ago, I was working an 8 to 5 job for a huge company, making great money, had "things" if I wanted them, but was not happy. Now, I'm playing drums in what we hope to be one of the breakout bands of this year, traveling all over the country, and living what many would call a dream. Money is tight, the hours are tough when we're on the road, and there's a lot of boredom when we don't travel, but I have a wonderful girlfriend and family that support me 110% and I am happier than I've even been. So I guess my advice, is don't sit around and wait for something good to happen. If you don't like where you're at, change something!! Do something you've always wanted to do, chase a dream. I can tell you from experience that it won't be easy, but it will be the most rewarding and exciting thing you've ever done. And no matter the outcome, you'll know that you did something most wouldn't try...and that is one of the greatest feelings you can have, I promise!! And in the process you'll learn so much about yourself that you'll be a better, happier person for it! Thanks for coming by to say hi!!
