Storico cultore della reggae music da almeno un ventennio e ambassador nella provincia di Belluno, Rocciaman è uno degli ideatori e organizzatori di Free e Roots Yard al Rototom Sunsplash. Promoter di gruppi reggae italiani e europei, organizza nel 94 una manifestazione reggae sulle montagne del bellunese denominata Sunsplash Natty Dread Revolution, collabora con Rastasnob, sostiene e promuove Dan I, l’ Imperial Sound Army e, nella veste di selecter propone esclusivamente reggae roots e conscious music, dalle radici fino ai giorni nostri. Nelle sue scalette musicali sono presenti tutti gli artisti della storia reggae sia jamaicana che del mondo, proposti con uno stile particolare tanto da differenziarlo. Non suona dancehall style.
A true veteran and roots reggae anbassador over the italian town of Belluno since more than twenty years; this is the selecter called Rocciaman, the main promoter and organizer of the FREE and ROOTS YARD at the Rototom Sunsplah Festival in Italy. Also promoter of many italian and european reggae bands, he organized on 94 a reggae festival over the mountains of his town called SUNSPLASH NATTY DREAD REVOLUTION..he has worked with rastasnob, also promote Dan I and Imperial Sound Army, he only deal with roots reggae and conscious music, from the roots to the new style.. on his selection we can find the whole part of the most important artists of the reggae music’s history, but he use to play this music with his own original style.. Rocciaman never deal with dance hall and bashement !
