About Me

I'm a spiritual being.

Visit my music page for samples of my music.

My Interests

I'm very interested in and play a number of flutes, including Irish flute, barouqe flute, Japanese shakuhachi, and Turkish ney. Also play didjeridu (it's all about the breathing!). Another major interest is dancing, including West Coast swing, Carolina shag, Argentine tango, hustle, zydeco, and latin club dancing. I love freestyle, discostyle rollerdancing, like in the movie Rollbounce, I'm using Salomon ST8 blades for that.Below is a video of me and my partner, Debra, dancing West Coast Swing (with a little tango thrown in!):

I'd like to meet:

In the famous people category I'd like to meet anyone famous. In the ordinary people category I like meeting anyone with similar music and dance interests. It would be really cool meeting famous people with similar interests!

Music:

Right now I'm hooked on the Orb and the XM chill station (84). But I still love the music I dance to, including old Rhythm and Blues, beach, zydeco, soul-disco, scratchy 78 recording tango, and heavy-on-the-electronics nuevo-tango.

Movies:

I think the best movie ever made was Peter Seller's "Being There".

Television:

Lifetime Movie Network.

Books:

All of Micheal Moorcock's books. I especially like The Dancers at End of Time.

Heroes:

I can't help thinking of Gong's "Zero the Hero", although I never really understood that story line.

My Blog

Dominic Gaudious

I just shifted Dominic Gaudious to the top of my top 40 list. I met Dominic in 1999, and that was when he invited me to do a gig with him. The way that came about was because I was a participant in th...
