Coming from a family of singer-musicians, and growing-up in Nashville, TN, it's no wonder PATTI NICOLE developed a love for music. From directing the church choir at age 12, performing in high school, college and post-graduate productions as The Wiz, Colored Museum, For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When The Rainbow Is Enuf & the Song of Jacob Zulu, singing backup for Nashville hip-hop group Utopia State & Distorted Soul artist Nadir, writing & hosting her own radioshow (FireDancer Presents: Pieces w/ Patti Nicole, on 98.9 WRFN-LP, Pasquo, TN), to songwriting. If her style of writing is to be classified, it would be "inspirational acoustic soul". "I love the depth of sacred music, the storytelling of folk music, the beauty of acoustic guitar and the movements of jazz. I want to create messages & experiences that resonate within your soul." In addition to music, PATTI NICOLE is also a professional actress seen in numerous TV commercials, print ads and training videos. She was the face of Pitney Bowes Business Solutions that ran for several months in Black Enterprise magazine, as well as being featured on music videos for Billy Ray Cyrus's "Under the Hood" and Billy Gillmon's "I Am/Shades of Life".
