I'm an IT and Security professional by day and a bass player in a cover band by night. I currently play bass in Imagine That Band and the Dave Lindsey Blues Band . Most recently, I was with Late Arrival , Postwar Fords, and Third Wish. Folks who know me also know I'm kind of a gear hound, with a taste for quality stuff. I love both form as well as function, with a true appreciation for quality. I feel that, having nice equipment to play music on, no matter what kind of music, or how simple or complex, is a perfect way to enjoy both.
In the 80's I was pretty active musically, playing in everything from hard rock bands to jazz combos and bluegrass bands.
I love all kinds of music as long as the focus is the music, as opposed to some kind of strong angry and/or destructive agenda. One of my pet peaves is strong politics and especially destructive negativity in music... I play music for the love of the art form... not to force some angry personal agenda on others. We have enough negativity in the world. I think healing will come from focusing on and supporting the good things we still have in the world. If we're diligent enough, the negative and destructive will have no space left to occupy.
