My name is Art Kalahiki and music has made my life complete. I've traveled to Germany, France, Australia, Canada, Mexico, across the mainland singing along the way and meeting the most wonderful people in the world.Today I'm focused on my music as a soloist, or performing with my partner Mike Saffery as part of the "Art & Mike Band". We've been together going on almost 6 years now, and enjoying new challenges along the way. We specialize in Hawaiian, Soft Rock, Soft Jazz/Swing and RnB. Our band also extends with other talented musicians including Fred Kenison, bass or lead guitar, Danny Kiaha on bass or ukulele, Anela Kahiamoe on lead guitar or ukulele and Tau Grieg on upright bass. I also have another extended group that I perform with Albert Kaai slack key guitarist, and Vocalist Allison Chu also known as "Allie". We go by Allison Chu & Uncle Art & Uncle Albert. We bring an exciting style that is filled with wonderful Hawaiian music.I've been blessed over the years to be able to work with some of the finest entertainers and musicians in the business from Uncle Andy Cummings, Manny Fernandez, Danny Otho and others. I am also working as a booking agent providing entertainment for weddings and corporate events on the island of Oahu. I want to take this opportunity to thank all of my family and friends that continue to encourage and inspire me.
