SHISSO

SHISSO BIOSHISSO is a singer and electro-acoustic improviser and composer. He started in 1996 like frontman for rock bands like Naked Beauty, Junkie Shine and Meat Torpedoes and had with them an intense live activity. In the year 2000, with Mescalinaeden, he formed the experimental duo Cognàc, recording 3 EPs: Bon Voyage(2000), Soundtrack For a Blue Movie(2001) and the live Cognàchismo(2002), going from crazy experimentation of the first, to the more regular and melodic sound of the second, and third live for voice, bass and drums. In 2005 , from a digital improvisation, was born a new composition called “Goccia”, and this is the real turn from the analogic used in the past, to the electronic new sounds. The actual solo-project by SHISSO, is the result of all these experiences with all his influences and musical background. In December 2006, he joined a improvisation in the big and unexplored cave “Grotta Caterina”(on the borderline Italy-Slovenija) inspired by the Pauline Oliveros composition named Deep Listening, with the Hungarian soprano Krisztina Nemeth and Mescalinaeden. In September 2007 a new analog improvisation by Cognàc inspired by the movie “Old boy” by Park Chan-Wook has been recorded. At the moment, SHISSO, is working to a new composition called “Ucronìa”., you can hear some track on this page. In December 2007 SHISSO toured a little dividing stage with Mescalinaeden.
