And in early 2006 he founded his main project, radical free/spontaneous music/art ensemble, The Electronoise Group (ENG). It is a group that are making concrete drone sounds with their free-improv expression and the ideas from "laptop" "noise" and "Art". And he also founded the NIkO Label, a non-profit label for free copyright and free expression by laptop expressionism artists.
He loves Steven Stapleton from NWW, Maurizio Bianchi in late 80's, and the ICR soundARTists, Colin potter and Darren tate. And of course, for DaDa and Bauhaus.

Toshitaka Ikeda is a Japanese sound artist whose using a guitar and computer to create shimmering, swirling electronic sound of enormous range and complex musicality. His work focuses mainly on the possibilities of ambient music that we need a variable attention for our listening process, the electric guitar, a sound generator and improvisation with higher levels of risk (using laptop systems that behave in unpredictable ways). Exploring relations between sound phenomena such as resonance or difference tones and the human capacity for creative listening, Toshitaka has developed a sound world weaving a unique blend of references such as ambient, drone and improvisation.
Inspired by Taikan Yokoyama, a Japanese painter. The sound which Toshitaka made is just like that. A "silent" in Taikan's landscape.
