Samir Fejzic & Karolina Ollinen

Samir Fejzic graduated from the Sarajevo Music Academy in 1998 and currently works as a professor at a Secondary Music School Sarajevo. He is the well-known author of Vocal Counterpoint and co-author of the book Bosnian Songs for Voice and Piano. As a jazz pianist, he has performed in many concerts, such as Jazz in Action; a BHT music production.Karolina Ollinen originates from Sweden and has been performing on stage since childhood. She studied Music & Performance at Queensland University in Brisbane, Australia.Samir and Karolina started their musical journey together in 2004 and have since played many concerts together. The dynamic pair plays jazz standards with a wide variety of influences from classical to soul. Samir and Karolina both bring their life stories to their music and the result is a beautifully unique mixture of East meets West.
