Passionate about both music and depth. Starting as a run of the mill Christian band, they soon grew tired of the "Convert the Heathens" mentality. Their music isn't about pure faith, it's about pure life. To deny their spirituality is foolish, to limit them to being such a band is blindness. No, instead they share their passion for life through energetic and at times explosive music and an amazing live show. Their music isn't about beliefs, but in the ever present mood swings that make up this thing we call life. Not content to limit themselves on topics, they aren not like some emo bands who only talk about death. Or others who only talk about girls, Reserved is a life band, the good, the bad and the ugly. Overall they have a message of love. Ryan Styles lists his motto is a poetic line from a movie *The greatest thing you will ever learn is to love, and be loved in return.* And that is what they do through their hard hitting, yet hopeful music. And that is the conflict Reserved tries to capture, a conflict that every person feels. Their music at times feels like a massive battle of good versus evil, from the melodic tones of their ballad 'The Wind Told Me To Breathe' to the harsh finale of 'Bloody Lips and Bullet Wounds.' 'We live in a world that is conflicted' explains Styles 'Constantly fighting amongst themselves about all topics. We just put that into our music. And from the chaos, chaos something beautiful'
Now they are making waves recently opening for such national acts as The Used, My Chemical Romance, Gatsby's American Dream, Killswitch Engage, Senses Fail, Underoath, The Forecast, A Static Lullabye, Sophomore, Opiate for the Masses, Like Yesterday, Nicky P, Last Flight Home and Bleed the Dream.
