Beshig Beshique Equa

This is my second life. To those who haven't been here before..my first life is in my Blog.
I know nothing of my blood lines. Being born white..of white parents. A father I never met & a mother that did not want me..raised by her mother & died when I was 11. I was put in foster care until I graduated from high school.
As far back as I can remember..I have loved the first people of the land. Urning to know their ways & learn the truth. Through time..many miles..& years..I met a woman that is in the circle. I shared my heart & how I longed to learn. She explained how things were done in the right way with tobacco. In time she introduced me to her elder. Doing as I was instructed..I gave him tobacco & told my heart again. This beautiful man Ivan Hunter...listened intently. Then he explained that what I had longed for all my life would come to pass. That I have a good heart & Creator would guide me in the way of truth & peace. In the summer of 07 I went to my first sweat & was given my new name. Beshig Beshique Equa......One Buffalo Woman. I'm at home finally..with family..that love me with out question because of the color of my skin & hair or eye color. (As a child..I was tormented relentlessly by the white race)
I have never known such love..from a family unit. Open arms & hearts. We all have friends that we trust with our lives that are very few & far between..sad but true. Now having an very extended family..I'm welcome every where I go in the circle of kindred hearts.
