I was born and raised in Los Angeles. I began playong the piano at the age of four and have studied all forms of music my entire life. The house I grew up in with eleven brothers and sisters was always full of noise and music and chaos. I think that is why I am able to remain calm and focussed under great amounts of pressure.
I don't believe i ever had a choice in my career. I believe music just chose me. I speak it's language easily and as naturally as breathing. I can't imagine doing anything else with my life.
I have two children ,Zoe and Charlotte, who encompass two of the three most powerful forces in life. They teach me,love me, look up to me, and play with me. They keep me young and age me all at the same time.
The other powerful force in my life is my beautiful wife Michelle. We have been together 17 years and like any great woman would be she is my greatest challenge. She teaches me, she laughs with me,she believes in me. After all this time ,I still feel I am just scratching the surface of who she is even though I know practically everything about her. And the more I learn about her,the more I learn about myself.
I love playing music. I love playing live.I love recording.I love composing. I truly believe that music at it's purest form is one of the voices of God given to the world to inspire us,console us,and bring us joy.
All forms of music,if it moves people in a positive way is valid and beautiful.
I have toured the world with various artists for years. I currently am working as Musical Director for the CBS show Rockstar which will tape it's second season this summer.
