I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Howdy Pete's the name. Ireland's my Home, Dublin was my place of Birth in the Year 1975 on the 29th of July.I've been a Bass Player since 1989. For a number of Years I was predominately a Session Player and did a number of Gigs with some well known Irish Musicians including Ger Foley-Arguello and his Projects 'Gypsy Blues' and the 'I Ching Mafia' as well as Don Baker (He's also an Actor and plays that unpleasent IRA Leader in the Film 'In The Name Of The Father' with Daniel Day Lewis) Don's son Glen and Jenny Lindfors. I still do some Session Gigs part-time with Bands like Dogfight, The Glitterbugs, The Boogie All Stars, Greglab and Nigel Curran as well as some others. In early 2005 I started doing gigs with Bailer as a hired Bassist, but got so much into their Music that I joined as a full member in September 2005, and that is priority Number 1 for me(check out www.bailermusic.com). We're releasing our Debut Album shortly. I can't bloody wait. YIPPEEEEE :-DAlso check out our Myspace Band Homepage at www.myspace.com/bailerband.

My Interests

www.bailermusic.com, www.myspace.com/bailerbandMusic, Bass Guitar, improving my Music Sight-Reading and Theory, studying the French Language, more Music, Weight lifting Weights,Exercise, keeping healthy, even more Music and enjoying life in general. I also enjoy writing and typing a lot.

I'd like to meet:

Fellow Musicians, anyone interested in Ireland and my Band Bailer. "; I edited my profile at Freeweblayouts.net , check out these Myspace Layouts!

Music:

Lots of stuff including Hard Rock, Heavy Rock, 80's Rock and Pop, Frank Zappa, Reggae, Orchestral Music (as in Film Scores, that kinda thing) Motown Classics and Jazz.As a Hired Bassist I've played a lot of gigs playing all styles of Music including Jazz and Techno and its great fun. Its handy to keep things diverse and to be open-minded to playing and getting involved different Genres etc as the Phone rings more often, but I'm essentially a Rocker, through and through. Now as a member of Bailer, that is my prime focus and I enjoy performing with them very much. A few of my earliest Dreams have come true through being with this Band and will do again.

Movies:

Loads, too many to mention, but specifically anything Comedic, or with Peter Sellers or Steve Martin in them. Plus I do have to mention Braveheart though as I worked as an extra on that Film. You can even see me in it a few times.

Television:

Southpark, Only Fools and Horses(British Sitcom), Black Adder(British Sitcom), Fawlty Towers(British Sitcom), Monty Python, The Simpsons, The Vicar of Dibley(British Sitcom), Spaced(British Sitcom), Red Dwarf(British Sitcom) anything by Spike Milligan.

Books:

Everything and anything by either Douglas Adams, Spike Milligan, and 'Still Me' the Biography by the late, great Christopher Reeve(my Childhood Hero)
