BRANDON CALHOON

Brandon is a true, stripped down, rock'n roll artist with flare for soulful music. His style is similar to the Black Crowes and Jonny Lang, but Brandon has truly created a unique soul rock vibe that is undeniably his own. His music is a true testament to his early influences, passionate stage presence, potent charisma and small town Michigan roots. In 2004, Brandon left Michigan to pursue his love for music in Los Angeles. While there, he was one of only fifteen singers chosen from all over the world to compete on the nationally televised show called Rock Star INXS. After the show, Brandon spent many months working with producers and playing hot spots like the Roxy, the Key Club, and Whisky A GO GO to find his unique soul needed some inspiration away from the Hollywood scene. After spending this past summer along the Gulf Coast and stirring up audiences at local favorite spots such as the Flora-Bama, Hub Stacy's and Soul Kitchen, Brandon has returned BACK TO DETROIT ROCK CITY and continues to write and create music that's in his soul.
