About Me

The Divine Literary Tour is an exciting, forward-thinking, first-of-its kind national event bringing together Black Greek Authors of varying genres from across the nation. The tour has a dual purpose of promoting literacy and celebrating cultural diversity. We are also the only group of touring authors providing scholarships for indigent students who can and will change their legacy and vision for generations to come!! The tour boasts a roster of debuting and national bestselling authors published with major houses such as Random House, Simon and Shuster and Kensington, coupled with accomplished self-published authors who round out this group. Our authors are involved in their communities, including supporters of Alzheimerâ€™s and HIV/AIDS research. They are educators, counselors, trainers, professors, entrepreneurs, and all shades of other leaders.The tour is open to Greek authors from any of the Divine Nine organizations. Non-Greek authors may also join as a guest authors. We are also looking for speakers for workshops and panel discussions. Sister II Sister Sorority Luncheon is coming to your area Soon! Imagine a meeting of the minds of sheroesâ€¦.

Ethel Hedgeman Lyle, Bertha Pitts Campbell, Arizona Cleaver, and Mary Little gathered to fellowship. Now realize the possibilities of gathering in the spirit of our founders as we gather to perpetuate greatness . You are invited to the Annual Sister II Sister Sorority Luncheon founded by Taylor Thomas, anchor/producer of the Steve Harvey Morning Show in DC. Seeing the need for more unity and cohesiveness amongst the members of Alpha Kappa Alpha, Delta Sigma Theta, Zeta Phi Beta and Sigma Gamma Rho she launched the first luncheon 10 years ago in Raleigh, which has since expanded to Maryland/DC, Atlanta and now Charlotte and Dallas.

The event will include a seated full course meal, fashion show, door prizes, vendors along with authors from The Divine Literary Tour.

The signature awards ceremony highlights a soror who has been elected by her peers for going above and beyond the sisterly call of duty. This year's winner will receive a commemorative award, a check for her chapter's scholarship fund along with a pair of tickets anywhere Southwest flies in the US.
