Entrepreneurship and Empowerment. I love helping others see they can change their lives when they change their approach. I love sharing information about entrepreneurship - especially related to turning creative talents like writing into business. God gifts us with amazing capacity to create better lives. It's our responsibility to take that capacity and use it for the betterment of ourselves, our families and our communities.Other interests include running, watching football, and, of course, eating good food. (Well, I am in America. It's what we do. ... and don't laugh, I'm sure you like good food, too.)
People who see the opportunities in life ... and people who realize God gives them the power to shape their own lives. Sure, there are some things we can't control, but there are a whole lot we can. So if you want to be joyful, if you want to be successful, if you want to be financially healthy, you can be - if you decide you will be. And put a plan into place to make it happen. As for business, I'd love to meet entrepreneurs, people who want to become entrepreneurs, people who want to turn their creative talent into business.
I love modern gospel, old school R & B, country with a pop flair. I like to listen to music if it happens to be on, but I don't go out of my way to find it. I'll pretty much listen to what's on, as long as it's not hostile.
I love suspense, comedy, and drama/romance. I do not watch or like horror.
I enjoy a range of show types, from serious business to silly bride mania :-) Shows I gravitate to include: CNBC's The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch, Bridezillas, Seinfeld reruns, Everybody Loves Raymond reruns, Oprah, Fox's The O'Reilly Factor, Countdown with Keith Olbermann, Comedy Central's The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, the Colbert Report, Lil' Bush, whatever is on CNN.
I love personal finance books. My longtime favorites are Robert Kiyosaki's Rich Dad, Poor Dad and Cashflow Quadrant. I also love Stephen King's Memoir: On Writing, suspense books by Keith Lee Johnson, and a range of other titles, including Victoria Christopher Murray's Grown Folks Business and others whose titles escape me at the moment :-); I also like Nora Roberts, John Grisham, and Michelle McGriff.
My mom. My husband. Oprah. Anyone who listens to that inner voice and succeeds against incredible odds.
