Rubber Duck was formed in 1985 in Stockholm, Sweden. Since the start, there's been some changes in the bands set up but most of the gig's were played by the same band members.. Lasse Björkman - guitar, Janne Åström - Vocals, Petter Askvall - Lead guitar, Micke Höglund - Bas guitar, Lars Pollack - Keyboards, Tony Helander - Drums. We played mostly at Rock Club's in Stockholm and the surrounding area... Kool Kat Club, City Hallen, Pipeline Club, Live Wire Club, Playback, Wärldshuset and some MC Club's. In 2006 we got together for "the reunion". Recorded two songs - dancing madly backwards / Captain Beyond & Living Wreck / Deep Purple. Currently we are recording more material and a couple of gig's are planned. Our influences: Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper, Frank Zappa, Captain Beyond, Blue Oyster Cult, Pink Floyd, Iron Butterfly amongst others...
