Are you ready for this. Eddie Leighton, John Fain, Rick Vuk, and Joe Fava, took first place in the Miller High life Rock to Riches Contest beating out over 35,000 entries nation wide. Did you get that, 35,000 bands. If that isn't enough, how about, Eddie Leighton also won first place in the Motor City best guitarist contest, beating out over a 1000 entries. Now put this together with lead vocalist Dino Johnson, and you've got "Leighton". If you want great music, and great musicians, then this is the band you should listen to. They have appeared on stages with national, and international acts: STYX, Foreigner, Paul Rodgers, Asia, Blue Ouster Cult, Mark Farner, Foghat, Kansas, and Reo Speedwagon, just to name a few. Influences: We all grew up on rock oriented bands. Led Zepplin, Hendrix, Clapton, Journey. Eddie was into Fusion bands like Return to Forever, Al Dimeola, Lee Ritinour. But we love anything that sounds great and kicks butt.
Sounds Like: Sammy Hagar, Journey, Nickelback.
