I would like to change the world by changing the relationship of the United States of America to the rest of the world from within the country. Some these changes may seem drastic but are necessary to follow international law. Here are some of the ideas I am working on refining at this time and yes, I know some of the ideas are contradictory to being president of the united states of america: 1.) The US will ratify CEDAW; the Coalition for the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women. 2.) Pennsylvania will return to the status of occupied territory; Britain will have to repay it's loan from William Penn another way. If this has a domino effect on the rest of the states in the nation, so be it; the real country will begin to emerge. 3.) Hawaii will return to the status of occupied territory; the U.S. military will have to change their status in Hawaii to become part of a Hawaii's peacekeeping mission and participate in the environmental clean up of the Nation of Hawaii and agree to protect the indigenous people from foreign occupation. No nuclear weapons will be allowed within Hawaiian land and waters. 4.) All religious organizations in the United States will have to pay property taxes for the land they are utilizing. Unless these non-profits can show how their religious organizations are giving back to the community to offset their property taxes, for example, by feeding those who need support and advocating international peace, and religious tolerance. Those religious organizations that do not provide services to the community, and balance their books adequately by giving to the needy will be subject to the laws of eminent domain; their land can be foreclosed upon and sold at market prices. 4a.) Separation of church and state: Teaching members of religious organizations may not participate in combat abroad and/or join the united states military, except as unarmed civilians, because to do otherwise is hypocracy. 5.) Halliburtons assets at home and abroad will be seized to repay the United States citizens for the losses suffered by laundering money during an illegal war.
People who can make a difference. People who can save the world from war, poverty, disease, and hunger. People who will find alternative energy and save us from environmental disasters. If you become one of my friends here, this does not mean that I agree with your political point of view or that I am going to vote for you. I am interested in all points of view and am always interested in meeting people who think they can change my mind about something.Give it your best shot Governor Palin! I really don't want you in the White House.
Ordinary people who are managing to survive in the world today.
