BIO
Somewhere between heaven and hell lie the desolation angels - the souls all about you with longing in their throats and conviction in their eyes. The sound is unique, Detroit rock and roll that knows where it comes from - from black and white southerners singing as they work on the line; from young detroit kids practicing in their garages saying 'fuck the status quo,' from lonely nights in an industrial city and hard days between the concrete and steel. desolation angels-detroit: dan mckernan, erik pelto and Josh Weddle. Their resume is impressive from New York City to Chicago, large clubs to small bars. But the true key is at their shows and in their songs. Because in our hearts, late at night, on that unlit highway, aren't we all...desolation angels?
